Bemar Color — Photography, design & customer service
My first professional foundation came from the family business, where I worked from a young age with Photoshop, photographic restoration, studio photography, graphic production, and direct customer service. During the later part of this stage, I also began my university studies in Advertising.
Creative career
Color Service · Gatsby Dominicana · Modulor
Continued developing photographic restoration in a studio environment at Color Service, moved into graphic and editorial design at Gatsby Dominicana, and later created a furniture magazine/catalog and an early Flash website for Modulor. These roles connected my creative background with the beginning of my web-development path.
Technical transition
Web & programming foundation
Expanded from design into technology through technical training in web design, Flash, introductory programming with Oracle, Joomla layout development, and online PHP study. This period marked the transition from creating digital content to building the systems behind it.

Built and operated an independent web-services business serving multiple clients. Managed meetings, requirements, planning, delivery, and ongoing support from my own office, while building Joomla/PHP websites and hiring or coordinating programmers and designers when projects required additional expertise. Increasingly complex client requirements pushed me to deepen my programming skills through continuous self-directed learning.

Telesistema — Web Manager
Managed web operations across five major media properties: Telesistema Canal 11, Teleantillas Canal 2, a news-program website, and two radio-station websites. Coordinated a programmer and web designer, participated in meetings with managers to understand priorities, and organized the team's work. I also led the implementation and operation of online TV and radio streaming, introducing live broadcast capabilities to the channel's web platforms.

Worked across PHP development, internal functionality, travel-oriented web systems, SEO, advertising, and digital operations. New business needs continuously expanded the technical scope of the role and significantly strengthened my programming and problem-solving experience.

Developed websites for the advertising agency and its projects, primarily using Joomla and PHP, including web implementation and custom programming according to project and client requirements. This role overlapped with part of my time at vaca.do.

BAYNAO — 10+ years of continuous engineering evolution
Built and continuously evolved my own commerce platform through three generations: a custom PHP/MySQL system on a semi-dedicated Linux server with manual WhatsApp service; an AWS modernization with modern PHP, Composer, libraries, and rule-based WhatsApp order/quotation automation; and today's local Linux + Cloudflare architecture with custom APIs, n8n, AI workflows, R2, data-quality automation, and multimodal customer operations.
2025 → present

Returned to the business where my career began with a very different role: applying years of software and operations experience to Odoo, Chatwoot, WhatsApp integration, n8n, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted business automation.
